Matchday one of the
Betway Premiership will continue on 10 August with Kaizer Chiefs and debutant Durban City on the road.
Chiefs will be the visitors at the DHL Cape Town Stadium in the Mother City, where they are set to square off with Stellenbosch FC.
This will be the 13th meeting in the elite league between the two teams since Stellenbosch were established in 2016.
Chiefs have the upper hand in this rivalry, having won six games compared to Stellenbosch's three wins, while three games ended in a draw.
The last league meeting between the two teams ended in a 1-0 victory in favour of Chiefs on 7 February at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.
Durban City, on the other hand, will make their debut in the top-flight at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, where they are scheduled to take on TS Galaxy.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams since Durban City were rebranded and formed in 2024, having been previously known as Maritzburg United.
Siwelele FC will also make their elite league debut when they square off with Golden Arrows at the Dr Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein on August 9.
The two teams will meet for the first time, with Siwelele having been formed in 2025, after purchasing three-time South African champions SuperSport United's top-tier status.
Lastly, Orbit College, who will also be making their top-flight debut, will lock horns with AmaZulu FC at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban on August 9.
This will be the maiden meet between the two teams in the elite league, with Orbit having been promoted to this division for the first time in 2025.
Orbit won the promotion/relegation playoffs and they will be the only team from the North West Province in the Betway Premiership.
